You will first need to download the flash files and place them in the root of your SD card (If you have an InnoTab 3 or Storio 3, you will need these files instead)
flash_files_root_sd.zip (Size: 4.69 MB / Downloads: 4,243)
Next download some flash games located in the Downloads Thread.
Exctract the game to its own folder inside your /LLN/APPS/Games folder on your SD card. If you downloaded angry birds, you may have the files located in /LLN/APPS/Games/AngryBirds.
Verify in your folder that you have at least 2 files. An .swf file which is the actual game and a _Run file that runs the flash game.
You will then need to edit your database file and add the information to the app. In your LLN folder, look for your database file. For InnoTab1 it should be Innopad.db, for Innotab 2 and possibly 3 it should be Innopad_sd.db. The 2s and 3s will most likely be Innopad_wf.db. Open it with an sql editor such as THIS. Browse the Games or Books database and enter the info where you want it to show up.
If you are adding a flash game, browse the Games_info table and click on New Record, then in the blank row, double click on filename and enter in the path to your game such as /vp_mnt/sd/LLN/GAMES/AngryBirds. Double click on the type and enter 0, double click on title and enter the title of the game. That should be enough for your game to show up and run. If you have a 2s or 3s, you will also need to add your UnitEID to the UnitEID field or it won't show up. You should have found this value when flashing your device.
SOON TO COME.... Run an app that will re-compile the database from your SD card apps.

Hi,
quick question: can I use any *.swf that can be found on the internet for free (e.g. Bloons, no warez!), copy and paste the "_run" file from an existing game into a new folder and follow the remaining steps to be able to play it?
Has anyone tried it so far?
Thank you.
Best Regards

Do you know what the issue is if I try to start a SWF file and it ends up with a white screen and a grey "forbitten" sign (circle with a bar throuigh it)?
I just started playing around with one SWF I downloaded the "download helper" add-on in Fire Fox. It works well with IrfanView and its nice to play.
I put the SWF to the game folder of the Storio 2, added a _run file, named the swf according to the _run file, added an entry to the DB incl. a thumbnail and booted the Storio.
The game (icon) is displayed under the games section.
