Sennheiser HD518 Not Working on One Side

I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if the issue persists.
Method 1:
Run the Playing audio troubleshooter.
a) Press the ‘Windows + W’ key on the keyboard.
b) Type Troubleshooter in the Search box and then press Enter.
c) Select Troubleshooting. Click on View All and select Playing audio.
d) Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.
Method 2:
You can download the device drive from the device manufacturer. Install the device driver (Sound) using the compatibility mode and check if that helps in fixing the issue.
Now, to install in compatibility mode, follow these steps:
a. Locate the executable file (.exe file) for the driver installation program.
b. Right-click the file, and then click Properties.
c. In the Package Name Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.
d. Click to select the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box, click Windows 8 (or any compatible OS version) with which it is compatible with in the Run this program in compatibility mode for list, and then click OK.
e. Double-click the executable file to start the installation program.
