Adobe Flash Player 32.0.0.445
[German]Adobe has released an update for the Flash Player on October 13, 2020, which raises it to version 32.0.0.444. It is a bug-fix and security update which closes vulnerabilities. Microsoft also provides an update for Windows. Here is some information about this update.
Support for the Adobe Flash Player will end on December 31, 2020 (see also the blog post Adobe Flash: End-of-Live date again announced).
A security update
Adobe Security Bulletin APSB20-58 October 13, 2020, states that a critical NULL pointer dereference vulnerability (CVE-2020-9746) allowing arbitrary code execution has been found in all older versions of Flash Player prior to 32.0.0.433 (Windows, macOS and Linux) and 32.0.0.387 (Windows 10 and 8.1). Microsoft is therefore also updating the Flash Player for Windows. According to this page Adobe has updated the Flash Player to version 32.0.0.455.
The Flash Player should have updated itself automatically or can also update manually in the browser.
Flash security update KB4580325 for Windows 8.1/10
On Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, the distribution of Flash security updates is handled by Microsoft. Microsoft released the security update KB4580325 for Windows Server 2012, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows RT 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 10 Version 1511 on October 13, 2020. For Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, Flash security updates are distributed through Windows Update. The direct downloads of the Adobe Flash Player updates are only available for earlier versions of Windows (Windows 7) from the Adobe Flash Player download page.
