lostin70's has released Devil Spring Reverb, free plugin effect for Windows and Mac VST/VST3/AU.

Boing Boing makes my old tube amp when I move it or when I wildly unplug my jack! Well now, you just have to move your favorite DAW to hear the evil melody of the wiggling spring. It's vintage and It's very warm. All the sounds come from impulse responses grappled on the web. They've been cleaned up and I've been working on a convolution reverb algorithm optimized with small onions (french expression to said fine tuning).

GSi releases VariSpeed free delay plugin                       09th November 2020

GSi VariSpeed is a new plugin that GSi offers free of charge to everybody. It's a simulation of the WEM Copicat IC-400 Belt Drive VariSpeed model, the first tape echo machine made by WEM with a DC capstan motor capable of changing speed, thus varying the delay time. GSi VariSpeed replicates the hardware instrument "as is" with all its pros and cons, without any additional feature except the fact that it is digital and MIDI-controllable. This can be considered as the second chapter of a tribute to the genius of Mr. Charlie Watkins that GSi began back in 2008 with the release of the freeware "WatKat", which was a simulation of the "Custom Copicat".

Back in mid-August, we created a spoof advert on one of our videos showcasing Kompreskimo, the Inuituitive Compressor. Well, guess what? We only went and made it!

Kompreskimo in the joke advert intentionally sounded awful, so we put our heads together and looked at both Mark’s mastering chain and the best buss compressors and saturators we could get our hands on, then combined the best of all of them to create this really great sounding mix buss tool.

Our chief in-house C++ boffin, Jamie, spent many months putting this together. We knew it had to sound amazing. And Jamie delivered.

MVX Synths releases MVX XV free VST synth        07th November 2020

MVX Synths has released MVX XV, free VST synth plugin synth for Windows.

Everything we've learnt using Synthedit and making music has been put inside this new plug-in. Although there's no great presets included, those switchable oscillators from Osmosis, the XT oscillators from Xtruder, the filter cambinations from Filterknock, and the MVM matrix modulation allows the user to recreate a wide range of sounds beyond the limits of classic synths.

Of course, everything is made with Synthedit but a little coloured to get a better timbral experience.
