There could be some settings that have changed, reason for the font to change when you convert your Word file to PDF. There could also some changes that have happened (e.g., updates) that are causing the issue. However, we would like to know if you have checked the settings in Word before converting it to a PDF file. You may also want to check the version of the PDF application on your computer to see if there are some changes. You might want to check this article as well to check the setting of your Word application.
