Protect Yourself From Tech Support Scams
Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers trick you into paying for unnecessary technical support services. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number.
Hi,
Please answer the below questiond for the better understanding of the issue.
1. What is the model of the device?
2. Are you able to turn on your device and do you see a WINDOWS logo?
If you recieve a WINDOWS 10 logo, you can still do a clean installation and check if it helps. To know how to do a clean installation of Windows 10, please follwo the below article by Andre Da Costa dated January 27, 2015 and check if it helps.

If you are even UNABLE TO SEE A WINDOWS LOGO, we ask you to get your device diagnosed by the MANUFACTURER as they are capable to assist you in this regard.

It is a Toshiba Encore and no, there is no Microsoft logo....only a Toshiba logo and then a blank screen...forever!
The answer I'm looking for is how to edit the unattended setup file used to install Win 10 without user prompts (Setup.exe /unattend:unattent.xml) .....the xml file works to a point and then gets the error msg about the product key not readable.....I want to do an unattended setup with no product key and use the "Do This Later" option..
