How to Set Up Firefox to Download RAR Files Without Asking
If you have to download multiple files, such as RAR archives, in the same folder, Firefox will ask you where to save each file. Going through the same menu for every file is a waste of your time, so instead set up Firefox to download RAR files to the same folder every time without asking. Firefox enables you to change download settings using the Options window.

Click the "Firefox" button in the top left corner of the window and click "Options" to open the Options window.

Click the "General" tab and then the "Save files to" radio button under the Downloads sectioni to enable saving files without asking.

Click the "Browse" button next to the Save Files To option and use the resulting file manager to select the folder into which you want to download the RAR files.

Click "OK" to save the settings and close the Options window.
