Does netflix slow down ps4 downloads

Go to the My Games and Apps tab to check on the peogress of downloads. Not sure about watching Netflix and downloading though

I had the same question but after trying it out I would say yes. I am currently installing Ryse while using Amazon Instant Video.

The answer is yes.  You can install a game and the. Go to Netflix as it installs in the background.  If there are updates to the game it may slow the install down slightly as Netflix plays depending on your connection speed.

I've played Killer Instinct, watched Netflix and even watched movies on xbox video while my games downloaded.

Grab a few achievements while you're watching Netflix. I've only had a One a week, but freaked out when I got some achievements while playing Netflix. lol It was my 1st WTH moment with the One.
